A robber looking for narcotics got away with several bottles of medicine for the treatment of attention deficit disorder.
According to Tampa police, the man went into the Publix grocery store at 19028 Cross Creeek Blvd. just before 3:30 p.m. The robber showed the gun to the pharmacist and demanded narcotics; the pharmacist gave him several bottles of Vyvanse, which is used to treat hyperactive children with attention deficit disorder.
The robber took the bottles and ran eastbound through the parking lot. No shots were fired and no one was injured.
The man is described as white, 20-30 years old, 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 160-185 pounds. He had covered his face with bandages and was wearing a dark cap, sunglasses, a light color or green shirt, dark sweater, light colored jeans and tan work boots. His silver pistol has a wooden handle.
