Four people have been arrested after Pinellas County sheriff's detectives busted two Clearwater-area growhouses overnight, detectives say.
According to a report, narcotics detectives following a tip served warrants at 1987 Wolford Road and 2324 Moore Haven Drive late Friday and early today.
Detectives said they seized 147 marijuana plants, with a street value of nearly $250,000.
Arrested were Gary Everett Dickson, 28, 2028 Pinehurst; Steven Bradford, 22, 1987 Wolford Road; and Joseph Zino Steinkoenig, 28, and Jennifer Wolford, 26, both of 2324 Moore Haven Drive.
Detectives say the four are acquainted with each other and are believed to be associates in the growing enterprise.
All four have been charged with trafficking and manufacture of marijuana, according to the report. Steinkoenig and Wolford, who are boyfriend and girlfriend, are also charged with two counts of child abuse for exposing two children in the house to the marijuana, the report said.
The arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into Pinellas growhouse operations, detectives say.
