NEW PORT RICHEY - A New Port Richey woman faces charges of child neglect after Pasco deputies found her passed out in her car with her 4-month-old son strapped into his car seat in the back seat.
Karissa Lee Glisson, 22, of 3920 Edgemont Drive, was arrested at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, shortly after officers found her in a Cadillac parked on Humboldt Avenue. The car was parked with about four feet of the body sticking into the street, creating a traffic hazard, deputies said.
Glisson was unconscious in the passenger side of the car. Another adult was also unconscious in the driver's seat, deputies said. Both appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance at the time fire and rescue officials woke them, deputies said.
Glisson was released from the Land O' Lakes Jail Wednesday night after posting $10,000 bail.
