TAMPA - The Florida Highway Patrol today identified a woman killed Wednesday after her car was rear-ended on North Dale Mabry Highway.
Chang Lee, 56, was driving a 2005 Hyundai south about 10 p.m. when her car was struck by a 2004 Ford pickup south of Van Dyke Road, troopers said.
Her Hyundai rotated clockwise onto the west side of the road and into the grass shoulder, where it overturned, a Florida Highway Patrol news release said. Lee, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle, which stopped on the west shoulder of Dale Mabry.
Lee died at Tampa General Hospital a short time later.
The Ford's driver, Jerrod S. Bogush, 19, of Odessa, and his passenger, 18-year-old Kailyn McClutchy of Tampa, were uninjured.
The crash remains under investigation.
