Lake Wales - A body was found inside a car that was engulfed in flames from a single-car accident in Lake Wales this morning, the Polk County Sheriff's Office reports.

At about 4:15 a.m., an officer with the Lake Wales Police Department found the overturned vehicle burning off the west side of Scenic Highway in Lake Wales, about a half-mile south of Egg Farm Road, the sheriff's office said.

The sheriff's office identified the victim as Quentin Jermale Anderson, 26, of 367 Cloverdale Road in Winter Haven.

The 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was registered to Anderson's sister, Eleazer said.

An autopsy will be performed tomorrow to determine Anderson's cause of death.
