GRAND OPENINGS: Two new Stroller Strides locations will celebrate grand openings. Stroller Strides Flatwoods Park in Wesley Chapel will open at 9 a.m. Friday with a free class for mom and baby at the entrance to the park. HELP FOR KIDS WHO STUTTER: The University of South Florida is hosting "Youth Day for Kids Who Stutter" from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 17. Sponsored by USF's Speech-Language Pathology Program, the event will bring together kids who stutter and boost their confidence through self-help activities. Parents and speech clinicians from the school systems will also attend.
Cost is $10 for parents and children and $15 for speech and language students. A pizza lunch will be served for $3. Limited scholarships are available for those with financial needs.
