LAND O' LAKES - Parents will get a chance this month to weigh in with their views on proposed attendance boundaries for two schools opening in August.
A parent meeting on Watergrass Elementary boundaries is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the cafeteria of Wesley Chapel Elementary School, on Wells Road.
Watergrass, under construction in the Watergrass development off Curley Road, will draw all of its students from Wesley Chapel Elementary, which is one of the county's most crowded schools.
A meeting on Anclote High School boundaries will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 12 in the cafeteria of Smith Middle School, on Sweetbriar Drive in Holiday.
Anclote High is being built next to the middle school and will draw its students from Mitchell and Gulf High.
The Pasco County School Board is expected to vote on the proposed attendance boundaries in February.
