MILWAUKEE - Angel Robinson scored a game-high 23 points while also grabbing 10 rebounds for Marquette as the Golden Eagles ended South Florida's nine-game winning streak with a 68-60 win Saturday night in the Big East opener for both teams.
The Bulls led early, holding a 23-15 lead in the first half, before Marquette rallied to take a 30-29 halftime lead. Marquette then added to its advantage early in the second half. USF (13-2, 0-1) came closest to regaining the lead when Jasmine Wynne's layup made the score 41-40 with 13:35 to play.
Shantia Grace led the Bulls with 17 points, but Marquette (10-5, 1-0) wouldn't lose its lead, closing the game out at the free-throw line late.

ATHENS, Ohio - Jennifer Mossor scored 19 points and No. 18 Florida (14-1) broke open a tight game with a 9-0 spurt in the second half to beat Ohio (4-8).
Steffi Sorensen had 14 points, Sha Brooks 13 points and seven assists, and Sharielle Smith had 12 points and a career-high 10 rebounds for the Gators (14-1).
