Plant City Man Dies After Losing Control Of 2003 Mitsubishi

A 19-year-old Plant City man was killed Sunday afternoon when he was ejected from his car during a crash, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Brett Russell Fuller, 19, of 5012 Mud Lake Road, was driving his 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer northbound on Mud Lake Road about 2:45 p.m. when he lost control, deputies said. The car overturned several times, eventually landing in a strawberry field and ejecting Fuller, who was not wearing a seat belt. Deputies don't know what caused Fuller to lose control of the car.

Fuller's passenger, William White, 17, of 2005 Poplar Court, Plant City, was not injured. Deputies say he was wearing a seat belt.
