TAMPA - Police arrested eight people on drug charges after searching two mobile homes that had triggered several neighborhood complaints, a report states.
Tampa police served search warrants at 5125 and 5127 Par Court on Monday after conducting undercover drug buys for two weeks, a report states. The homes are on a dead-end street south of East Seventh Avenue and west of North 50th Street.
Police said they found 50 grams of crack cocaine and $2,067 in cash; officers also seized three vehicles and four firearms.
Five people were charged with felony possession of cocaine with intent to sell and with being a felon in possession of a firearm. They are: Rodney Baldwin, 28, of Tampa; Reginald Bedford, 26, of Tampa; Jaukeva Fleming, 29, of Tampa; Rechee Wilson, 28, of no known address; and Anthony Lewis Williams, 26, of no known address.
Baldwin, Wilson and Williams each were being held on $30,500 bail today at Orient Road Jail, records show. Bedford was being held on $18,500 bail and Fleming was being held without bail.
Carl Golden, 46, and Davarius Moore, 24, both of Tampa, face charges including armed trafficking of cocaine. Both were held being without bail.
Kecia Chaney, 36, of Tampa was charged with felony possession of Ecstasy. She was being held on $7,500 bail, records show.
