St. Pete Mayor Set To Jam With Marshall Tucker Band

St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Baker is getting ready to rock.

Wednesday night, Baker will join classic rock act the Marshall Tucker Band on stage at the Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive.

A City of Largo news release said Baker will be playing with the band, but did not specify in what capacity.

The Marshall Tucker Band has been playing for more than 30 years and is best known for their hits "Fire on the Mountain," "Can't You See" and "Heard It In A Love Song." The band has had numerous hit singles on classic rock, country and gospel charts and earned seven gold and three platinum albums.

The band Rebel Pride will be the opening act.

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 on the day of the show.
