Ronald Baumgartner stabbed a man in the back Tuesday and bit the man's roommate on the head Wednesday, Tampa police say.
Officers arrested Baumgartner on Wednesday morning.
He was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, battery and burglary.
On Tuesday, the 53-year-old Tampa man punched a 45-year-old Tampa man on the face three times and stabbed him in the back with a knife, causing minor wounds, according to a criminal arrest affidavit. The man needed stitches.
On Wednesday, Baumgartner unlawfully entered the stabbing victim's home and bit his 36-year-old roommate on the head, breaking skin, the affidavit states.
Both attacks were at the same address, 2821 N. Nebraska Ave., Apt. 4. The injured roommate's forehead had puncture wounds and needed stitches, according to a police report.
Baumgartner, of 2825 N. Nebraska Ave., No. 2, remained in Falkenburg Road Jail today. His bail had not been set.
