MIAMI - Authorities are giving notice that beverage agents will be on the prowl for underage drinkers at the BCS championship game in Miami.
The state Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco is sending 12 to 16 agents to Thursday's event, where the No. 2 Florida Gators vie for the title against the No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners. Agency spokeswoman Alexis Antonacci says it's a family event and they want to make sure it's a safe environment for all.
Fans under 21 who are caught with drinks will be asked to dump the beverage, and may be given a notice to appear in court to answer charges.
