Polk Deputies Say Body Found In Mulberry

Polk County deputies are investigating a death in Mulberry of a 28-year-old Polk County man.
A person in a helicopter checking power lines in the area for Tampa Electric Co. saw a body about 1 p.m. today and called authorities.
The body was in a water-filled pit off Pebbledale Road. The victim has been identified as Pedro Hilario Arenas of Wahneta.
Arenas' family had reported him missing Tuesday. He was last seen alive Jan. 3.
