Want a guaranteed seat along Pennsylvania Avenue so you can wave to Barack Obama after he takes the oath of office Jan. 20? Better act fast.
Tickets for the inaugural parade go on sale at 1 p.m. today, the Presidential Inauguration Committee announced.
The 5,000 tickets available to the public will be sold through Ticketmaster for $25 each. Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
The tickets will give spectators access to bleachers along the 1.7 mile parade route from the Capitol to the White House.

Tickets guarantee a seated spot and are limited to four per person. Standing room only space along Pennsylvania Avenue does not require a ticket, but will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Officials estimate up to 2 million will come to washing for Obama's inauguration.
The entire national mall will be open and lined with large television screens for spectators to watch Obama's swearing in and to watch the parade.
