DUST OFF THE DEERE: The Pioneer Florida Museum and Village holds its popular tractor pulls at the museum grounds a mile north of Dade City off U.S. 301 on Pioneer Museum Road. Weigh-in will be at 9 a.m.; the pulls will start at 12:30 p.m. Pull classes will include stock, modified, youth, outlaw, economy and farm stock. Entry fees are $10 per class. NO GREEN TO GO GREEN: Learn new methods of eco-friendly living at The Green Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pasco County Fairgrounds, 36722 State Road 52, Dade City. MMMMM, TASTY!: Cindy Ewald, a candidate for honorary governor of West Pasco, will host a new fundraising event, Taste the Best of New Port Richey, on Jan. 24. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Boulevard Beef & Ale, 6236 Grand Blvd. Many local restaurants will serve samples of their signature dishes. Tickets are $20 per person, which includes food and two drink coupons. The net proceeds from the event will be divided between the PACE Center for Girls and the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce building fund.
