Yamoto Eatery Opening

WESLEY CHAPEL - Yamato Japanese Steakhouse will open next week at Shops at Wiregrass, the newest addition to the central Pasco County mall that opened Oct. 30.

Yamato has set Thursday as its opening day, according to mall manager Greg Lenners. The restaurant sits near Dillard's, at the eastern end of the horseshoe-shaped mall, on State Road 56.

Yamato features chefs who cook teriyaki-style meals for diners seated around a large cooking area.

The Wiregrass location will be Yamato's first for the Tampa Bay area. The chain has three locations in Gainesville.

Also on the horizon for Shops at Wiregrass are Hot Kiss, a clothing store catering to young women, and Venetian Spa, a nail salon.
