Man Killed Crossing Road, Clearwater Officials Say

A man was struck and killed by a vehicle when he walked into traffic on Gulf to Bay Boulevard on Friday night, said Elizabeth Watts, spokeswoman for Clearwater's public safety department.
The crash happened shortly after 8 p.m. in the 2800 block of Gulf to Bay.
No additional details were immediately available.
