TEMPE, Ariz. - Anquan Boldin says he won't give his injured hamstring a serious test until just before kickoff of the Cardinals' divisional playoff game at Carolina on Saturday night.
"We're just trying to be smart about the entire situation and just see how it feels on Saturday," Boldin said.
The Pro Bowl wide receiver sat out practice for the third day in a row Thursday to rest the injury, doing only minor rehabilitation work.
"It's a fine line that you have between doing enough and doing too much," he said.
Boldin strained his left hamstring on a 71-yard TD pass play from Kurt Warner in the second quarter of Saturday's 30-24 victory against Atlanta.
"If I played any other position, I'd be fine," Boldin said, "but being a receiver you've got to run every play and it's definitely tough."
ALL GIANTS OK: The New York Giants had everyone on the roster practice Thursday for this weekend's NFC semifinal against the Eagles, the first time in more than three months no one has been sidelined by an injury.
DE Justin Tuck (lower leg) and backup LB and long snapper Zak DeOssie (back) worked on a limited basis for Sunday's third matchup this season against the Eagles.
The last time the Giants had the whole team practice was Oct. 3, two days before a game against the Seahawks. The only player who was not at practice that day was WR Plaxico Burress, who was suspended for missing a team meeting after a game against Cincinnati.
Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride refused to say whether he approached the Raiders about their vacant coaching job or if they asked the Giants for an interview.
The Raiders said Gilbride approached them about the job. He spoke with owner Al Davis by telephone Saturday. "I had a very enjoyable conversation with Mr. Davis," Gilbride said.
