Sheriff's Office: Man Shot In Face In Tampa During Dispute

A man shot in the face and upper torso Monday night was in critical condition this morning at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hillsborough County sheriff's spokesman J.D. Callaway said.
"He was out in the woods with another guy, and we believe they were arguing over some type of narcotics," Callaway said.
The shooting occurred about 7 p.m. near 15th Street and Fowler Avenue in Tampa, Callaway said.
Deputies are trying to identify a suspect, he said.
They also are trying to contact the victim's family before releasing his name. He is in his early 30s.
