Pasco Man Shot By Wife's Ex-Boyfriend, Deputies Say

HUDSON - A 58-year-old man was shot by his wife's ex-boyfriend, who then shot himself inside the couple's home, Pasco deputies say.

The victim and suspect remained in hospital this afternoon.

Deputies continue investigating this morning's double shooting at the Barrington Hills RV Resort, 9412 New York Ave.

According to reports, Britt Morford and his wife, Jaclyn, were in their mobile home when a man in his 40s began yelling for them to come outside. Investigators have only identified the man as a former boyfriend of Jaclyn Morford.

Morford told his wife to lock the doors and went outside to tell the man to go away. The man shot Morford and went inside the home to look for Jaclyn Morford, 53, who had fled to a neighbor's home.

The man then shot himself, investigators said.

Most of the park's residents are seniors who live there part of the year.
