Dungy Is Class Act

Tony Dungy. Colin Powell. Barack Obama. Warrick Dunn. Condoleezza Rice. Derrick Brooks. What do all of these people have in common? They are all class acts. All put others above self. And all are people the rest of us can look up to and emulate.

Support The Streetcar
Friday we waited 45 minutes in traffic gridlock, wasting gas, trying to attend the history center opening. Others were going to the St. Pete Times Forum's circus. We watched streetcar after streetcar, standing room only, pass by. We should have parked in an Ybor City garage and ridden it to the opening.

The city, because of its possible future financial responsibility, has been involved with the streetcar from day one. Yes, these are hard economic times and this is a matter for concern, but now is the time for support and encouragement, not fault-finding.
