TAMPA - Final touches were put in place Tuesday for the 24th annual Florida RV Supershow at the Florida State Fairgrounds, which runs today through Sunday.

This year's theme is "Fun is Right Around the Corner" in anticipation of families looking at recreational vehicles as a travel option but staying closer to home.

The show features RVs from buses to pop-ups, as well as vendors and free entertainment, including barbershop quartets, bagpipe bands, clowns, unicycle riders and Arneberg's Super Dog Show. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be a Kid's Zone with face painting, puppet shows, rock climbing and bounce houses.

Seminars will be presented daily, including Choosing an RV: A Logical Approach, Alaska RV Adventure: Highway and Ferry, and RV Adventures to the Gulf Coast and Baja Mexico.

"With the addition of new entertainment and more seminars, we're anticipating record crowds this year," marketing director David Kelly said.

Tickets are $8 and include two days of admission. Ages 15 and younger are admitted free. Seniors get a $1 discount today.

Gates open at 9 a.m. daily and there is shuttle service from the parking lots. For information, go to www.frvta.org
