Deputies Back At Trailer Park Where Burned Body Found

TAMPA - Hillsborough County sheriff's detectives are back at an abandoned trailer park at 11441 Jefferson Road, where a burned body was found Wednesday afternoon.
The body is so badly burned that detectives aren't sure whether it is a male or female, sheriff's spokesman J.D. Callaway said. Investigators plan to go over the crime scene again and speak with people in the area.
A person passing through the area near Fowler Avenue, east of Interstate 75, noticed something unusual and called authorities about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Callaway said.
Detectives are treating the death as a homicide but must wait for the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
