TAMPA - A 21-year-old Tampa man has been indicted on a charge he threatened to kill President-elect Barack Obama.
Nathan Garold Wine turned himself in to Tampa police Thursday night on a Polk County warrant for grand theft of a firearm, according to records. Wine is accused of stealing a shotgun from Elizabeth M. Barker of Lakeland on Jan. 3.
In a telephone interview today, Barker said Wine, who dated her daughter, had used her computer. She said the Secret Service has seized her computer.
No more details were immediately available about the threat Wine is accused of making the day after Obama was elected.
