TAMPA - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers finally made official Friday what most everyone who follows them has known for days. Joe Barry is returning to the team to coach their linebackers.
Joe Barry is returning to the team to coach their linebackers.
Barry coached the Bucs linebackers from 2001 to 2006. He left to run the Detroit Lions defense but was fired in the wake of the Lions 0-16 season.
Barry is the first addition to a Bucs coaching staff that is still looking for a new tight ends coach and a new secondary coach to replace Raheem Morris, who was promoted to defensive coordinator.
