Man Indicted On Charge Of Killing Eagle

Tampa - A 32-year-old Hudson man has been indicted on a charge he shot and killed a bald eagle.
Jesse Tyrone Barresse is accused of killing the eagle on Jan. 13, 2008, in Ruskin, according to an indictment handed up in July and unsealed today.
The maximum penalties Barresse faces, if convicted, are one year of imprisonment and a fine of $5,000. U.S. Magistrate Thomas G. Wilson set bond at $20,000.
