Sarasota Police Arrest Absconded Sex Offender

Sarasota County deputies arrested a registered sex offender Thursday night that they say absconded from Massachusetts in spring 2008.

Deputies arrested Adam J. O'Brien, 27, of 2331 Gentian Road in Venice. He was charged with failing to register as a sex offender.
