3 Arrested After Drugs, Pipe Bombs Found

TAMPA - Officers serving a search warrant Friday arrested three men after finding cocaine, marijuana, a firearm and four apparent pipe bombs.
Arrested were Mario Andres Reyes, 21, Angel Luis Pizarro, 23, and Santiago John Rivera, 22, all of 6014 Santa Monica Drive. All were charged with possession of marijuana.
Reyes was also charged with armed trafficking of cocaine and four counts of possessing a destructive device.
Police were serving a search warrant on the Santa Monica address and found several small bags of cocaine and marijuana and a Glock pistol. They also found a large amount of pot in a toilet.
Police searched Reyes' BMW in the backyard and found bags of cocaine next to what they said were two PVC pipe bombs in the trunk. Two similar devices were found in the backyard.
The arrest affidavit said Reyes told police the pipes were fireworks he made for July Fourth.
