Dog Dies in Seffner Fire

A dog died in a mobile home fire in Seffner this morning, a fire official said.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to 5409 Mobile Drive about 6 a.m. to find the mobile home on fire, Capt. Bruce Delk said. The man who lived there was standing in the yard, having escaped safely.
The man's dog died, however, Delk said. He did not have the man's name available or know what breed the dog was.
Fire investigators were still at the scene as of 7:30 a.m. The cause is under investigation.
