Muir Among 6 Gruden Assistants Fired By Bucs

New Bucs head coach Raheem Morris isn't wasting time getting his house in order.

The team announced late Sunday that six former assistants under Jon Gruden have been released: offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Bill Muir, defensive quality control coach Johnny Cox, defensive quality control coach Ejiro Evero, offensive assistant coach Jay Gruden, head strength and conditioning coach Mike Morris and assistant offensive line coach George Yarno.

Morris coached defensive backs in the 2008 season before being promoted to defensive coordinator and then head coach shortly thereafter.
