ORLANDO - Ford Motor Company and the Southern Ford Dealers, a cooperative of 99 Ford dealers in Central, and North Florida, South Georgia and coastal Alabama, are partnering with Sport Aviation Association at this year's U.S. Sport Aviation Expo in Sebring this week.
"Ford's 100 year history of innovation is full of aviation firsts as well as breakthroughs in cars and trucks," said Jerry Mullinax, owner of Mullinax Ford in Apopka and chairman of the Southern Ford Dealers. "That's why our sponsorship with SAA is really a good fit when you think about it. We're both passionate about quality, craftsmanship and dependability."
Ford's fleet of innovative, dependable and stylish vehicles will be on display at the Expo at Sebring Regional Airport. Ford's newly-redesigned 2009 F-150 will lead the lineup on display. Ford's F-Series has been the best-selling vehicle of any type - car, crossover, SUV or van - every year since 1982 and was just named Motor Trend's 2009 Truck of the Year and is a finalist for the 2009 North American Truck of the Year.
Ford's crossovers, the 8-passenger Flex and 5-passenger Edge, as well as the Mustang, Fusion and Focus will round out Ford's display.
Attendees are being asked to evaluate the Ford cars, trucks and crossovers at the expo. In exchange, Ford will be providing prizes for the feedback they receive.
