No one was injured when a group of people showed up outside a Bradenton house Sunday afternoon and someone fired a gun into the residence, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.
Three bullets entered the windows and doors. One bullet almost struck a woman that was sitting in a chair in front of the house, deputies say.
The shooting occurred about 1:30 p.m. at a house on 56th Avenue East. A group of nearly 20 men and women stood outside the house, calling to the occupants to come outside, deputies say.
Juan Rodriguez, 30, who was home at the time, told deputies people in the crowd were displaying gang signs before one person pulled out a handgun and shot at the house.
After the shots were fired, everyone fled on foot, deputies say.
Deputies continue to investigate.
