SOUTH BEND, Ind - Melissa Lechlitner scored 15 points and Erica Solomon had a key basket and a rebound late to lead No. 10 Notre Dame (15-2, 4-1 Big East) to a 70-67 victory against St. John's on Saturday.

Kelly McManmon attempted a 3-pointer from the corner for St. John's (13-4, 1-3), but Lindsay Schrader blocked it at the buzzer.

HARTFORD, Conn. - Maya Moore scored a career-high 40 points to reach 1,000 faster than any player in Connecticut history, leading the top-ranked Huskies (17-0, 4-0 Big East) in a rout of Syracuse (13-5, 2-3).

UConn set a school record with 18 3-pointers, including a team-record 10 from Moore.
