PITTSBURGH - Shavonte Zellous scored 27 points, and the Pittsburgh women held South Florida to 26 percent shooting, including two of 19 from 3-point range, as the Panthers blasted the Bulls 76-49 on Saturday night.
South Florida was led by Porche Grant, who was the only Bull to reach double-figures with 11 points. She also added 11 rebounds.
The Bulls led early, taking a 13-11 lead with 12:27 to play in the first half, but from that point the Panthers (12-4, 2-2 Big East) dominated, running out to a 37-19 halftime lead. Zellous scored 13 of her 27 points in the first half, as the Panthers went on a 13-2 run to end the half.
The Panthers put together an 18-4 run early in the second half to cement their advantage, and at one point held a 37-point lead.
Pittsburgh also got 13 points from Taneisha Harrison, while Pepper Wilson had 12 points and 10 rebounds.
The Bulls (14-5, 1-4) got seven points apiece from Jessica Lawson, Shantia Grace and Melissa Dalembert.
