Hillsborough Ave. Reopens, Fuel Cleared After Tanker Crash

TAMPA - Hillsborough Avenue has reopened in both directions, hours after a fuel tanker and a small sport utility vehicle crashed this morning at the intersection with Town 'N Country Boulevard.
No one was injured in the crash.
The tanker leaked at least 10 to 20 gallons of fuel, according to a Hillsborough County Fire Rescue news release. The fuel has since been cleaned up, and fuel from the tanker was loaded onto another tanker and in fuel tanks at a gas station.
