TAMPA - When three employees of a Domino's Pizza tried to stop Charles James Morgan from grabbing money from the cash register Saturday night, he pulled out a plastic BB gun and pointed it at them, Tampa police say.
The BB gun closely resembled a Glock handgun, and the employees were in fear for their lives as they struggled with Morgan, according to a criminal arrest affidavit. Morgan was arrested about 11:10 p.m. Saturday while struggling with the employees at the store on 5011 W. Hillsborough Ave.
Morgan, 43, whose address is unknown, was charged with three counts of aggravated assault and one count of armed robbery.
Morgan remained in Orient Road Jail today. His bail has not been set.
