Clearwater Man Charged With Molesting Girl

A 21-year-old man is being held at the Pinellas County Jail this morning, accused of molesting a 12-year-old Clearwater girl after following her from a bus stop, records show.
Clearwater police arrested Josue Jimenez, of 2690 Drew St., Clearwater, on Friday, a city spokeswoman said today.
Jimenez is accused of following the 12-year-old and another girl home from their bus stop on Jan. 13 and molesting the 12-year-old while the other girl ran for help, Clearwater police spokeswoman Elizabeth Watts said.
Watts declined to release additional details.
The 12-year-old's mother called police, who identified Jimenez as a suspect.
Jimenez is charged with felony lewd-and-lascivious molestation, jail records show. He is being held on a detainer by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, records show.
