The Florida Highway Patrol has released the description of a vehicle that investigators say is connected to a Jan. 11 hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a Hudson man.
Authorities are looking for a white or light-colored 1997-99 model Ford Ranger pickup truck, possibly missing the mirror on the passenger side.
According to the highway patrol, the truck was going north on U.S. 19 in Hudson near Sea Ranch Drive about 4 a.m. Jan. 11 when it went off the roadway. The right side of the vehicle then struck Walter Littlefield, 39, who was walking on the shoulder of the road, the highway patrol said.
Littlefield was taken to the Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point that night and treated for critical injuries, the highway patrol said. Littlefield's current condition was not immediately available.
Anyone with information can call the Florida Highway Patrol at (813) 631-4020.
