Seffner Woman Charged In Beer-Bottle Attack On Boyfriend

TAMPA - A visit to a strip club turned into a bad night out for one couple after the woman was accused of smashing a beer bottle against her boyfriend's head, an affidavit states.
Miranda Sims, 25, of Seffner, was held without bail at the Orient Road Jail today, charged with felony aggravated battery, records show.
Tampa police arrested Sims about 2 a.m. at the Tampa Gold Club, 6222 E. Adamo Drive, after a spat with her boyfriend of seven years, an affidavit states.
While at the club, Sims became angry and smashed a 12-ounce glass Corona beer bottle against her boyfriend's head, the affidavit states.
The boyfriend, who was not identified in the document, suffered several cuts from the broken glass, police said.
