Police: Woman Pointed Gun At Man In Dispute Over Money

TAMPA - A woman is accused of pointing a gun at a man and smashing his windshield with a brick in a dispute over money, police said.

Titania Buchanan, 25, of Tampa was being held at the Orient Road Jail today on $19,500 bail. She is charged with felony aggravated assault with a firearm, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and misdemeanor criminal mischief, among other charges.

Buchanan pointed a semi-automatic handgun at a man in the 5700 block of North 47th Street about 12:17 a.m. today and threatened to "shoot the house up" if he didn't have her money, a report states.

The man said he would get the money, went inside the house and called police.

While waiting for the man to return, Buchanan smashed the windshield on his vehicle with a brick, causing about $500 in damage, police said.

She was arrested about 12:30 a.m.
