Tampa travelers are feeling the effects of this week's overnight chill: Airplanes were grounded because at least one airline couldn't de-ice them.
Delta flight 1471 to Los Angeles was scheduled to depart at 7:25 a.m. today.
But airline representatives told passengers as they boarded that the flight would be delayed.
The delay Thursday was an hour, they said.
Boarding continued on schedule; the flight taxied to a spot on the tarmac where it could catch the sun's first rays.
