I'm Finally Being Heard

Yes, I look forward to "four years of positives" (Letter of the Day, Jan. 22). But the positives that I see don't agree with the writer's vision.

I see four years of being able to voice my opinions and objections to the president's actions without being labeled anti-American or unpatriotic. I look forward to openness and accountability in the White House and Congress.

I know that everything won't be done according to my desires, but I believe that things will be done with the good of the country and our citizens in mind. I feel set free. I feel like the Who down in Whoville who is finally being heard.
