Southwest Adds Flights For Bowl
Southwest Airlines is adding flights from Phoenix and Pittsburgh to Tampa International Airport on Jan. 31 in conjunction with the Super Bowl on Feb. 1 at Raymond James Stadium. Southwest will add extra return flights to Phoenix and Pittsburgh on Feb. 2.
USA3000 and JetBlue Airways also scheduled extra flights between Pittsburgh and Tampa International to carry Super Bowl traffic.
SEC Drops Probe Of GM
General Motors Corp. overcame a federal accounting probe without penalty Thursday when the Securities and Exchange Commission settled charges that GM's mistakes violated federal laws.
The Detroit automaker will not be fined and did not admit or deny the allegations. The charges involved "materially misleading disclosures" dating to 2000 about how much money GM was earning on its pension fund investments, errors in accounting for derivatives and improper accounting for the sale and repurchase of precious metals.

Univision Settles Revenue Lawsuit
Grupo Televisa SAB said Thursday that it won concessions valued at more than $600 million from Univision Communications Inc.
Televisa, the dominant Mexican producer of telenovelas, had sued Univision, alleging the U.S. broadcasting giant excluded certain programs from a 25-year deal that called for Univision to share its advertising revenue with Televisa, even from shows that weren't made by Televisa.
