Manatee County Sheriff's Officer In Crash

Manatee County sheriff's Maj. Keith Stewart was involved in a traffic crash shortly before 6 p.m. Friday.
He was stopped at a traffic light on State Road 70 at Lorraine Road when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Jennifer Dumdei of Bradenton, a Manatee County Sheriff's Office news release states.
No one suffered serious injuries, and Stewart's vehicle had little damage, deputies say. Dumdei's vehicle had about $2,000 in damage.
