TAMPA - Tampa Bay's coaching overhaul continued Sunday when the Bucs hired Pete Mangurian to tutor one of the NFL's youngest offensive lines.
Mangurian, 53, has coached New England's tight ends for the past four seasons. He was the head coach at Cornell in 1999, when Raheem Morris guided the Big Red secondary.
A decade later, Morris has selected Mangurian to replace Bill Muir, a member of Jon Gruden's original 2002 staff in Tampa.
Mangurian served as Atlanta's offensive coordinator in 2003 and coached the offensive line for the 2002 Falcons, who averaged 148 yards per game on the ground, with quarterback Michael Vick contributing 777 rushing yards.
Morris is still looking for an offensive coordinator, a tight ends coach and a secondary coach.
According to the Nashville Tennessean, the Titans have granted quarterbacks coach Craig Johnson permission to interview with the Bucs for the offensive coordinator job.
