There is a common theme among the Cardinals, and it transcends age or status on the team. They all talk freely about their faith in God.

"It's been the most important thing in my life," rookie running back Tim Hightower said. "I encourage anyone and everyone, and I'm going to use this opportunity the best I can, that if you don't know God, you might want to get to know him. ... There's nothing you can set your trust in but Him. That's helped me throughout my career and throughout my life."

Receiver Anquan Boldin said faith was his safety net while he recovered from a broken jaw.

"No matter what goes on in my life - surgeries, injuries, hard times, whatever - I'm a man of faith," he said.

And when key players gladly pronounce their religious beliefs, spirituality affects the harmony of the locker room.

"To have the belief among the guys in the locker room is even more of a reason to say that we're here," safety Adrian Wilson said. "I think it speaks volumes for what this team has done and what this team is going through."
