SINGING THE WORD: Gospel singers Julian and Bonnie George will present a concert from 7 to 9 p.m. at Country Aire Manor clubhouse, 10249 U.S. 98. Tickets are $5 at the door. The husband-and-wife team has been ministering together since 1996. Julian has been writing music for about 15 years, with their music as a testimony of what Christ has done in their lives. RELIVE THE OLDEN DAYS: Fort Dade Mountainman Rendezvous will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Sunday at Withlacoochee River Park, east of Dade City and off River Road. The public is invited to attend the three-day event to learn how people lived in the early 19th century.
The cost is $2 per person or $5 per car. Children ages 12 and younger will be admitted free. Tent camping is available for an additional $5 per night. Recreational vehicle hook-up fee is $15 a night. For information, call (352) 567-0264.

THAT'S ITALIAN: The Pasco Italian American Civic Club, 1621 Maryland Ave., Hudson, will hold its inaugural dinner dance from 5 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $17 for members or $20 for nonmembers, and that includes a strip steak, roast chicken or fish dinner. POLISH EVENTS: The Polish American Pulaski Association will host a dinner from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and there will be music from 3 to 6 p.m. at 4616 Darlington Road, Holiday. Members admitted for $11. Guests pay $13.
There also will be a dinner from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. and a show, "Tribute to Johnny Cash," at 6 p.m. Feb. 6. The cost is $24.

BREAKFAST IS SERVED: The Cotee River Lions Club will host its monthly all-you-can eat breakfast and flea market from 8 to 11:30 a.m. There will be pancakes, eggs, sausage, home fries, grits, toast, coffee, tea and orange juice. The donation for the breakfast, $4, will benefit the Cotee River Lions Handicapped and Braille Trail Park on the banks of the Pithlachascotee River at 8320 Plathe Road, New Port Richey (north of Trouble Creek Road and south of Massachusetts Avenue between Rowan and Little roads).

FASHION WITH A TWIST: "Vintage Vanities and Retro Rags," a vintage fashion show with a burlesque twist, will begin at 7:30 p.m. at The Show Palace, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Dancers and actors will present fashions of classic movies, television and old photos. The evening will include kick lines, comedy, a human disco ball, a cash bar and 50/50 drawings. Vintage clothing will be available for sale before and after the show. Tickets, $15 per person, will be available at the door. The event will benefit Foster Hope Florida and Pasco County Foster-Adoptive Association. 'WATERCOLORS REVISITED': Pasco-Hernando Community College's Art Gallery will exhibit selected works of artist Elaine Hahn. An opening reception will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday. In conjunction with the opening reception, the student activities office will present a Polynesian Culture Festival through the twilight arts and entertainment series "Disturbing the Peace." The exhibit, "Watercolors Revisited," runs Thursday through March 14.
"Watercolors Revisited" is a collection of Hahn's favorite watercolors. It includes nautical and marine scenes, images of shells and sea life and shore subjects illustrating her skill in capturing coastal beauty.
The PHCC gallery is in the Alric Pottberg Library on the PHCC West Campus in New Port Richey, 10230 Ridge Road. Regular viewing hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. MESSIANIC MUSIC: Joel Chernoff, a pioneer of messianic music, will lead worship at 6 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Shoresh David Messianic Synagogue at Trinity United Methodist Church, 33425 State Road 54, Wesley Chapel. Chernoff is a former member of the group LAMB and is the general secretary of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America.

GOSPEL TUNES: Daytona Beach's Bethune-Cookman University Inspirational Gospel Choir will minister in music at First United Methodist Church, 6209 Land O' Lakes Blvd., at 9:15 and 11 a.m. Feb. 8. The concert will be free. A nursery will be provided, and an offering will be accepted for the choir.

THE CASHES SING: National and international country star Joanne Cash Yates will join her brother, Grand Ole Opry star Tommy Cash, for an evening of music and stories of the famous Carter and Cash families at 7 p.m. Feb. 9 at Rainbow Village Carefree RV Resort in Zephyrhills. Reserve seat tickets are $10 and available at the resort office, 4150 Lane Road.
Yates and Cash are siblings of country music superstar Johnny Cash. Yates is a national and international star in her own right. She is a pioneer in the country gospel and Christian country music market and has recorded more than 27 albums. She performed a duet with brother Johnny in a song he wrote called "When He Comes" that stayed at No. 1 on the European gospel charts for 17 weeks.
Tommy Cash, the youngest of the seven Cash children, also has made a career in the music industry and is a recording artist. He and his band, "The Cash Crew," perform a tribute to his brother.
