5-Year-Old Saves Dad's Life With Honey

Five-year-old Jude Stephen is a honey of a hero.
Jude was with his father, Danny Stephen, 43, in their home at 8019 12th Ave. S in St. Petersburg when St. Petersburg Fire and Rescue received a call about an unconscious person.
Shortly before 7 p.m., firefighters arrived to find the elder Stephen standing in his front yard.
Thanks to his son.
Turns out the dad, who is diabetic, was unconscious most of the day, according to St. Petersburg Fire and Rescue Lt. Joel Granata.
Jude poured honey and juice into his father's mouth trying to wake him up, Granata said.
It worked.
"Make no mistake," said Fire Rescue Paramedic Dave Fraser, "if Jude hadn't acted so quickly and intelligently, the worst-case scenario in a diabetic case like this could have been very serious, maybe even death."
