Gas Leak Forces Evacuation Of Adult Facility

St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue workers responded to a call this morning about a gas leak at a St. Petersburg adult living facility, according to a press release.
Firefighters evacuated 47 residents from Patrick Manor, 896 73rd Ave. N., and shut off all ignition sources while other firefighters checked the property for the gas leak, which they later determined was coming from the gas meter on the outside of the building.
Crews ventilated the building and checked the area with gas detector meters before allowing residents and employees back inside.
No Injuries were reported.
